Can You Cancel a Monthly Website?

Yes. A monthly website should not trap your business in an unwanted service. With PageFront, there is no minimum term or cancellation fee: cancel anytime, finish the period you already paid for, and choose whether the hosted site goes offline or moves with you through a buyout.

The important question is not only whether you can cancel. It is what cancellation changes. Check the billing date, how long the site stays live, who controls the domain, who owns the content, and whether you can take the finished site elsewhere.

How PageFront cancellation works

PageFront plans run month to month unless you choose annual billing. You can cancel by emailing PageFront. There is no contract, minimum term, or cancellation fee.

On a monthly plan, the current month is not refunded, but you will not be billed for another month after cancellation. Your website remains online through the end of the paid period. The full policy is in the PageFront terms.

What happens to the website?

After the paid period ends, PageFront stops hosting the site and it goes offline unless you buy it out. That is different from losing your business itself: your domain and your original content remain yours.

If you want to keep the finished website and host it elsewhere, you can buy it out. PageFront then provides a self-contained folder of HTML, CSS, and images. What stays yours after cancellation?

Your business domain and the original materials you supplied—such as your logo, photos, copy, services, hours, and contact details—remain yours. PageFront does not hold them hostage. If PageFront manages your domain, you can request a transfer or unlock at no charge, subject to normal registrar restrictions. A paid domain remains registered through its current registration period even if the hosted website ends.

Questions to ask before choosing any monthly website

• Is there a minimum term or notice period?
• Does billing stop immediately after cancellation?
• How long does the site remain online?
• Who controls the domain account?
• Can the finished site move to another host?
• Is there a buyout or export fee?

Get the answers in writing. “Cancel anytime” is useful only when the provider also explains billing, hosting, ownership, and portability in plain language.
